Hi I’m Julie
Once upon a time I had a diary. It was purple and covered in hearts and contained my deepest, darkest secrets. Like the fact that I sweat profusely when I’m within 3 feet of a boy.
I grew up in the city, moved to the suburbs, switched high schools and documented it all in my trusty purple heart-covered notebook.
Re-reading my diary made me realize how unintentionally funny I was and I wanted to share the ridiculousness that was my life with the masses. You’re welcome.

What year did you graduate high school? I think we’re about the same age because all of these things are so familiar to me =)
class of 2000 baby!
holy crud. this may possibly the greatest idea for a blog, EVER. i need to dig up my old diaries! you are a genius!
This is amazing. End of story.
This is brilliant though it makes me sad to realize I may have thrown away a gold mine when I finally chucked my old diaries!!
awesome blog idea, girl!
i have been keeping a daily journal for my 7 year old daughter since she was a year old-just about her milestones, daily escapades, and funny things she says. well, it’s more like 10 journals now actually!
i’m hoping she keeps them when she grows up so she can have insight into her past and how much we love her. I also hope she continues the tradition and keeps a daily journal for herself.
anyway-i’m babbling! i love journals/diaries.
again-great idea for a blog!
Love this idea for a blog! I’ve been writing a high school romance novel loosely based on my teenage self, but this idea is so much better!
OMG! Your blog is too funny! I too had lots of diaries/journals in middle school and high school, and I still have them all! I was such a dork, but it’s sooo fun to go back in time and laugh at yourself! What a clever idea. I LOVE IT!
Did you used to have a different blog? I think I used to read it if you did
